randomthoughtsI deleted my newly made Instagram account. I realized how much of a black hole this social media platform has become, just like X, Facebook, Tik Tok, and others, and that I really don't need it to boost my artwork or anything in particular whatsoever.
It makes me sick how many mind-rotting social media things are out there, and how it feels like you're supposed to be in every single one of them to even "exist."
I also have gained a new level of disgust with furry rick griffin in drawing smut of Fox and King having anal intercourse. It saddens me how little respect he has for his creations.

Birdfeeding

dw_community_promobirdfeeding is a community started on January 1, 2023. It's all about birdfeeding, birdwatching, and other topics relating to birds. It also touches on nature in general, and observations that may effect bird activity such as local weather. Both text and image posts are welcome. Now is a great time to join as hungry birds are easy to attract with a feeder.Community resources include posts about birding events, nurseries that sell seeds or plants attractive to birds, bird identification apps, the benefits of birdwatching, and other useful materials. Feb. 20th, 2026 09:10 pmysabetwordsmith posting in gardeningToday's project was creating an enclosure behind the log garden. I dragged some more logs back there so I can dump dead leaves inside. That way, they'll stay put, create habitat, hold moisture, and remain available in case I want some leaf litter during the warm season. This is a good use for old logs if you have any lying around.

Calling it quits.
Feb. 18th, 2026 10:05 pmfennectik posting in randomthoughtsI made the sound decision to give up drawing and just forgetting about it. I had thought that as long as I liked and enjoyed what I created it would've been enough without trying pleasing anyone else. But life isn't that easy, and I just kept lying to myself. I still have a deviantart account, but nothing drawn will ever be uploaded there or anywhere else. I am thinking on writing stories, and at least just use anything to polish them. It's easier than having to worry about how a body should be structured.
I've tried doing this for over 20 years and I never was able to grow at all. So telling me to continue practicing its not going to cut it.
I'm tired. I got nothing else to say about it.

My hobbies are: Writing is the big one. I write poetry and original short fiction. In fandom spaces, I tend to write a lot of short form erotica.
My fandoms are: Many and varied. Some of the favorites at the moment are BBC Merlin, October Daye, the Young Justice cartoon, and Wooden Overcoats.
I'm looking to meet people who: I like sharing this space with a wide variety of people. Some of my favorite members of my circle post recipes, media reviews, or meaty fandom meta, but other favorites are just sharing links to interesting news articles or talking about life.
My posting schedule tends to be: It's been sporadic in the past, but I've been trying to get in the habit of posting a few times a week. It's been grounding.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Don't be a Trump supporter, anti-LGBTQ, or a climate change denier.
Before adding me, you should know: I'm polyamorous and live in a tight-knit community that includes many platonic and romantic life partners. Sometimes I post about US politics, but that's going to be fairly rare. I am quite left-wing, because my government's right-wing social policies negatively impact my community and my family. I mostly post about: Journal entries about writing, social medias/the internet and anything creative, witchcraft, what I'm reading/what I've read, etc. Anything that I'm wanting to write about really.
My hobbies are: Reading, writing, making arts and crafts, drawing, anything that tickles my creative brain. And also watching junk TV because I contain multitude.
My fandoms are Mo Dao Zu Shi and Scum Villain (anything MXTX but I haven't finished Heaven Officials Blessings yet). I've also dipped my toes in Stardew Valley and Bridgerton as a fandom, although I haven't written anything for those yet. I'm Deadfandomswriter on AO3 if you wanna take a look.
I'm looking to meet people who: Are open minded and care about building a sense of community through active participation in their spaces. Are creative and love to see magic in their every day lives (I consider birdwatching to be its own kind of magic for the sense of wonder it brings, for example).

Feb. 13th, 2026 09:47 ammdehners posting in gardeningThe last Spring orders went out at the beginning of the month and only a few things haven't arrived. All the seeds except 2 that haven't arrived(Ashitaka and Lovage) are being stratified. Hopniss and Oca are planted. Just waiting on the Yacon. I also talked myself into a fruit I'd told myself I didn't have room for but decided to try it in a 25 gallon container; 'Snowbank Blackberry'. Hopefully, it won't be as vigorous as regular Blackberries and the White color will let the birds leave me some;>!
This yr I've decided to go full Lunar Gardening so I won't be starting the 1st batch of seeds indoors until after the New Moon. I've always sort of done a VERY superficial version but decided to go for the whole thing. However, I won't be doing Biodynamic. Not because I'm squeamish but I don't have a good source of animal viscera and parts. Not to mention access to lactating cow manure being fed particular diets. Probably not current practice. These books were OLD and the methods were dictated by Rudolph Steiner himself.
I'll keep everyone notified of progress;>!
