Lazy Sundays
May. 3rd, 2009 11:52 pmWe ended up doing some grilling today since the weather was so nice. Ness manned the charcoal, but he made sure to step back when it came time to actually cook the food; I think he was afraid of killing us both via food poisoning or something.
Anyway, while I was making dinner (turkey burgers on toasted kaiser rolls - quick, simple, and yummy), he attempted to take a picture of a rabbit that hangs around the neighborhood. He didn't have much success.
After dinner, we decided to grab a couple of flurries from McDonald's and sit at the lake for awhile. It seemed like everyone had that idea, so we weren't there for very long. It was also starting to get a little chilly at that point, so we headed home to play a round of Battle for Middle Earth II. Fun times.
All in all, it was a pretty uneventful Sunday. We'll probably have more to do next weekend with Mother's Day and all that.
And speaking of Mother's Day, I still don't know what I'm going to do for my mom. I don't want to give her a flower since I gave her one for her birthday a couple weeks ago. I might do a crochet bag or something, but I'm not sure what yarns I have left in my stash. Perhaps sorting through that can be a chore for tomorrow, eh?
